Like every year this year, on August 10 (Thursday), on the occasion of the 163rd birth anniversary of Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande, the father of North Indian music system and swarlipi system, a classical music festival was organized at the auditorium of the local district Khadi Village Industries Committee complex. The event was organised under the direction of the Centre for ancient art, and was first welcomed by Secretary, Asha Seva Sansthan, Amit Kumar Verma, co-organiser, Dev Kumar, director, ousefa, Eden head, Braj Kishore Kumar, etc. The ceremony was celebrated with the re-lighting of lights and wreaths and wreaths on the portrait of Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande and Pandit Jagmohan Jha, the father of Indian music system, and the Guru Vandana of Sakshi Ritu. The event, which was chaired by eminent talamjinder Ramnaresh Rai, founder of bkpg sangeet Sadan, co-organiser, was attended by Dr Ved Prakash, a nationally renowned flute player of the Darbhanga gharana, Pandit Ganesh Pal, a well-known classical singer from khagdia, Umesh Gupta, tabla player Ram Balak Nirala, Suresh Thakur, etc. At the same time, the legendary young tabla player Pandit Ramnaresh Rai's disciples such as Chandrakant, Ram Pravesh Kumar, Prabhat Kumar, Balakrishna, Subhashish Kumar, Uday Kumar Pathak, Om Prakash and Aman Kumar, besides Santosh Kumar, etc. The programme was moderated by Dr Sanjay Kumar. Deepak Kumar, Sneha Suman, and Himanshu Bhaskar, Atul Kumar Singh, Suresh Thakur, Raushan Kumar, played key roles in the success of the ceremony. Among others present on the occasion were Umesh Thakur, Roshan Kumar, Nandgopal Thakur, Arvind Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Ramkumar Mishra.
